Finally Home!!!

So we were able to close on our house on Friday at 9 in the morning.  That went smoothly so we hurried back to Mike and Dana’s house to pack our stuff up and get our cleaning supplies and energy in gear, the truck was on the way as well as the family.  Mike and Dana were awesome hosts all week as we stayed with them.  They fed us and gave our homeless bodies a bed to rest in.  We were hoping to get into the house since it was vacant but the other realtor didn’t want to cooperate so we waited it out and I got to do some retail therapy.  So back to Friday after closing the 4 of us went to the house and proceded to do a QUICK 2 hr cleaning session on our new home.  Dana has some really awesome experience in cleaning bathrooms and offered to do that for me.  How can i thank her for cleaning my bathrooms!!!!!  THANKS SO MUCH DANA!!!!!!!!!  We also worked on vacuuming out cupboards, and washing everything.  Soon my parents, Jake, and our kids were here.  We eagerly showed Gavin and Kamea our new home.  Gavin was so cute as he walked through the house so excited and walked right out to the back deck into our backyard and immediately went to the little play house.  He was so cute with his awed expression on his face as he saw a little house for him to play in.  He said its a little house for me.  Then he went to see his new swing set.  Right away he wanted to do the monkey bars, and he tried but said he couldn’t do it.  So he went down the slide instead.  He had so much fun running around our backyard.  He spent all day outside playing in the sand, in the dirt, and a lot of time in and out of his play house.  At one point during the day, i went out to see him and he asked me to come in so i did.  I sat there on the floor of his little house as he is sitting on his bright green chair, with his shot gun (toy).  When i first saw him in there he was sitting in there shooting pheasants,  It was so stinking cute i had to take a picture.  Gavin played and played and played.  He even helped unload the trailer with his big red wagon.  We were had the truck unloaded by that evening and the garage full.  Some of the house stuff was getting put together and things getting put away.  This is much thanks to my Parents, my brother Jake, Mike and Dana, and Jeff and Emily.  Thanks to all of them as we would still be unloaded the truck and trying to find a place to sit in our house.   By Saturday we had a good chunk of stuff put away and it was starting to feel like home.  This house is so much bigger than our other one but the main floor is well furnished, the basement needs some work yet.  Tonight we were able to get the counters in the kitchen completely cleared off as well as the bathrooms counters.  Most of the boxes left in the upstairs are just decorative stuff to be put up.  All the rooms need some TLC as i don’t get anything done with 2 kids that are very needy right now.  Maybe tomorrow i can get some more stuff done.  I don’t have any way to store the kids clothes yet so they are just pretty much sitting on the floor until i can find something temporary or permanent.   We still need to paint the kids rooms, clean basement carpet, put up decorations, put away clothes and organize toys.  The other stuff we need to do is move a door so that there is access to the basement bathroom with out having to go through both kids rooms, put in an egress window in Gavins room.  Organize storage room so i can do laundry, Organize garage so i can park car in there, put up pictures, declutter misc stuff, finish bedroom organizing, and so much more but im getting tired and ready for bed.  So good night for now.
