Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We are back in Platte and have had lots of fun seeing family and playing with kids, and eating lots of good food. We are all sharing a wonderful cold but at least its not the flu like in previous years. The weather was so beautiful the past few weeks but now i think the cold is here to stay. We look forward now to decorating and celebrating the Christmas season! Our home is finally coming together and i have yet to get some pictures uploaded here. I will try do that after i get the Christmas decorations up. We have come up with lots of ideas that we hope to implement in our home. We are really enjoying the area we are living in.
Gavin has started Preschool and loves to go every Tuesday and Thursday! He has learned so much and is well on his way to being prepared for Kindergarten in a year and a half. He told me the other day that he is going to turn 4! I can hardly believe he is going to be that old already! I love the things that come out of his mouth! The other day he was with Grandma in the bathroom of a truck stop on their way to the new house (right when we were moving in) Gavin tells Grandma “look Grandma there’s a hooker in here” Grandma didn’t know what to think and happened to turn around in the bathroom stall and see a hook on the door and tells Gavin “why yes there is a hook on the door” hahahaha. He has quite the imagination as well! I have to just laugh at some of the things he imagines and designs on a daily basis.
Kamea is still crawling around but not walking yet. She turned 1 year old the beginning of October and we were able to celebrate a small party with her but the family party was postponed due to flu bug. So we are going to celebrate tomorrow! She is busy saying so many words: cookie, daddy, mommy, please, uh oh, stinky, kitty, puppy, she makes turkey noises, and mimicks songs like ABC’s or when we sing she joins right in. Here are a few 1 year pics we took:
