Exhausted but Happy!

We are busy relaxing at friends Mike and Dana’s house!   We were hopeing to be in our new house cleaning it out  and preparing it for move in but things did not go as planned.  The other realtor won’t give us access to a decorators agreement so we get to sit and relax and go shopping and well, i guess i get to do that and Keith gets to work.  We did get to do a walk through tonight which was fun and exciting.  The sun was shining and the back yard was beautiful.  I just stood there and smiled as i listened to the breaze flow through the trees.  It reminded me of camping with my family as a kid.  It is so serene and beautiful in the back yard.  Gavin is going to love love love the back yard.  I can’t wait for him to see it.  We were able to nail down where the kids will be sleeping and a few things that we want to do to the house including putting in an egress window and adding a door to the 2nd bedroom in the basement but those will come later.  We will need to paint 2 rooms for the kids and we could paint other rooms but i am going to try washing the walls to see if that helps.  I am thinking the walls are just dirty from the wood stove.  Other than that with a little cleaning it will be ready to move in.  Reality hasn’t hit yet that we will be getting that house.  But i am getting more excited!

Today i was enjoying a day of shopping and ended up buying a lot of stuff for Kamea’s 1st birthday party.  I have a few things to make and invites to do but i have to find my supplies to do that.  I also found a few things to decorate her new room and i am looking forward to having an opportunity to girlie her bedroom.  I also looked for Gavin but i want him to pick out his own bedroom decorations.  Tomorrow i will be going to Lowes to look for paint color ideas and i should look for curtains as well for the some windows but i am not sure what to get yet.  lol

Yesterday i had fun shopping for chairs, kitchen tables, and a mattress.  I think i found all three but we will see if when we can afford it all.  Now i hope to find a  chiropractor so that i can go see them tomorrow and get this pain in my neck figured out.
I am starting to miss the kids as mom posted on facebook this post:

“Oh my baby girl is on the move and tearing the place apart. Can’t believe she waited to do it at my house. Well mommy she knows how to open doors and pull out stuff. All those lessons in packing boxes and she learned well. Empty empty empty. It is so funny.”

I am so excited for the kids to see the house and we can be home.   I really am enjoying being this close to the Black Hills!  But i do find myself missing a lot of friends and familiar things.  I am continuing to trust that God’s plan is perfect.
