Holy Cow, we are moving in a week!!! That is if our closing date stays the same on Friday. The house is really looking crazy box mazeish. Thanks to some wonderful friends who helped me pack, we made a lot of headway. Thank you Tera for helping me pack up Gavin’s room. I can’t believe how much we got done in that short amount of time. Thanks Lacey for totally packing up my Kitchen so i don’t have to cook anymore. lol, well i probably will cook to try use up stuff but we will have to see what i have to use. But what a relief to have both rooms mostly packed up. Thanks for bringing your kids to entertain mine, it made it so much easier and fun. Thanks to Dan and Gretchen for all the boxes and packing material. I can’t believe how many boxes we go through packing up a house. Thanks so much to Lisa who has watched my kids so i could pack without being interrupted. Thanks to mom and dad who found a trailer so we can move in one big load rather than wonder if we could fit in a rental and then have to drive it to Wyoming to return it.
I woke up this morning realizing that we only have a week left in this house and i have a lot to do yet. And then i realized i have a few gift cards to use before we leave town. How am i gonna get that done too. Shopping and i don’t have time to go…bummer. Gonna have to make time i guess.
The kids seem to be doing fairly well with the mess of the house packing. They just keep playing around boxes. Kamea can now pull herself up into standing if she gets in the right position. She is almost crawling and does a crazy move to get where she wants to go. I thought for sure she would be crawling by the end of the week but not quite. She is so funny right now. A busy talker and jabbers. She said “Kitty” “uh oh” which she loves to say. “mommy” “daddy” She can sign all done, more, milk, bye bye, hi, and we are working on please and thank you. She is a bit more advanced in this area than Gavin was because Gavin helps teach her. Gavin was crawling by now so she is a bit behind him, but not by much.
Well i better get moving, …hahaha ok enough with the puns. The kids are going to a babysitter today so i need to get a few things ready so we can get them there on time. Looking forward to packing with out kids and getting some basement stuff packed up. Then i get to go eat lunch with my neighbor. And then scrapbooking tomorrow!!! My very last scrap with my York friends.
